XPRESSION SUP TRIBE DURBAN – Xpression is a SUP & Surf Shop on the Durban Beachfront – but we more than that, we are a community, run by the most enthusiastic team on the water, with a serious passion for sharing our love of this incredibly versatile sport.

We sell the most extensive range of SUP brands and accessories in KZN including Starboard, Naish, Vanhunks, Mistral, Red Paddle. Come and meet us, and we can find a SUP that works for your lifestyle and your budget.

Rent a SUP

If you have SUP experience and you’re visiting Durban, come and rent a SUP from our shop (R200 per hour, R100 per hour after that).

We have lockers and change rooms for you.
SUP rental is weather permitting – we recommend calling before you arrive so we can advise you on the ocean conditions.

Learn to SUP 

We teach complete beginners. No fitness or balance is required, just a desire to learn and have fun – we have wide stable boards that do the balancing for you.

We teach on the ocean if conditions permit, or Durban’s hidden gem, the Point Waterfront Canal.

SUP Special 

Just R200 for a one hour lesson, including equipment hire and coaching:

Wednesday 7.30am and 9am

Saturday 7.30am and 9am

Advance booking is essential!

Private Lessons

Private lessons are 90 minutes and include professional coaching and equipment rental. You will master all the basics of SUP in one lesson and enjoy standing and feeling the freedom of floating on water.
